After the Oppo A76, Oppo began rolling out the stable Android 12 update for the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom. Yes, the cool looking phone is getting a big new update. This is the second Oppo phone to receive the ColorOS 12 update based on Android 12 this week. Oppo announced the update on its official forum. Oppo Reno 10x Zoom was re-released in 2019 with Android 9 OS. The device later received Android 10 and Android 11 as major updates. So Android 12 is the third major update for the phone and probably the last major update. It was a flagship phone that was launched last year and so some big updates were expected and Oppo provided it.
Oppo launched the ColorOS 12 open beta program for the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom in mid-May. And more than a month later, the stable version is finally coming out.
Now comes the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom Android 12 update details, it comes with the blood number H.61. The update is currently underway in India with the mentioned blood number. If you want to know about the size of the update, it may weigh more than 1 GB as it is an important update with changes in the UI and new features. You can also expect an upgrade to the Android security patch.
The update includes wallpaper-based theming, more default Google apps, privacy dashboard, enhanced dark mode, 3D textured icons, new features for AOD, new privacy controls, and more. Oppo has also packed its skin with a large list of aesthetic wallpapers, you can download these walls here.
Like other ColorOS updates, the Android 12-based ColorOS 12 for the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom is coming in batches. This means that it may take time for each eligible device to roll out. If you are an Oppo Reno 10x Zoom user in India, if you are using Android 11 build F.50 then you should get the OTA update soon. If you haven’t updated to F.50 build, you need to update to get the latest update.
Now if you are already using ColorOS 12 Beta on your Oppo Reno 10x Zoom, you can update your phone by going to Settings> Software Update> Check for Update. It will show you the latest updates that you can download and install.
