Xiaomi unveiled its latest flagship foldable, the Mixfold 2, just a day after Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Zfold 4. The Chinese OEM’s new foldable is a great opportunity for Samsung to offer as it brings flagship hardware at a barely extra affordable price. However, the Mixfold 2 is only slated to be in China, and Xiaomi hasn’t shared any plans to bring it to different regions now. If you’re in the market for a new flagship foldable and have the Mixfold 2 feature on your mind, you can either import it from China or have the organization release it for your country. The Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 ships with an upgraded model of MIUI 13 with a bunch of advanced capabilities for foldables to help users get the most out of its precise form factor. The software program launch also contains device-specific static and live wallpapers, which we managed to extract from the Mixfold 2’s firmware.

The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Octa-middle processor. The tool has an 8.1-inch LTPO show that gives 2K resolution. Its operating system works on Android 12. The dimensions of the tool are 173.4 x 69.8 x 17.2 mm when folded and 173.3 x 133.4 x 7.6 mm when unfolded. It weighs 317 grams and 332 grams (ceramic). The phone is packed with 12GB and 16GB RAM options, while the garage includes 256GB and 512GB internal storage options.
The rear digital digicam includes 108 MP (Wide) + 8 MP (Telephoto) + 13 MP (Ultra Wide) lenses while the front has a 20 MP (Wide). The Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 is fueled with a Li-Po 5020 mAh non-detachable battery that supports fast speed and Wi-Fi charging. Sensors on the side hook up include fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, color spectrum and barometer. It also comes with Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, USB Type-C 2.0, and NFC.

Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 comes with a total of 10 stock wallpapers and 5 live wallpapers. 5 of these stock wallpapers are for the cover screen, while the rest are for the main folding display. Live wallpapers, however, are only for the main display.
Cover screen static wallpapers have a 2520 x 1080p resolution and should scale well on most devices with FHD+ displays. However, the main foldable display’s wallpapers have a 2160 x 1914p resolution, so you might have to crop them if you’re planning to use them on a regular smartphone.
